Wanna meet Dana Carpender, Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt and Jimmy & Christine Moore?
Hey all you low-carb enthusiasts and healthy living connoisseurs in the Baltimore, Maryland metropolitan and surrounding area! We’ve got a really cool low-carb get-together planned just for YOU this Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 3:30PM at the Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse located at 600 East Pratt Street in Baltimore. We have reservations made and want to make sure we have a seat available for you as well. If you’d like to come, then please RSVP as soon as possible to livinlowcarbman@charter.net so we can know you and your fellow guests will be there.
There’s a really big low-carb science conference taking place in Baltimore this weekend from the Nutrition & Metabolism Society (NMS) that will feature all the latest research and developments behind-the-scenes of the studies examining carbohydrate-restriction. I’m so looking forward to being a part of the conference by providing LIVE Twitter and Facebook updates on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. If you were a fan on my Twitter or Facebook pages last year, then you’ll recall the information was incredible. I have no doubt 2011 will be the same!
After the NMS conference is finished, our flight doesn’t leave out until 7:45PM. So why not have a low-carb meetup at a Brazilian steakhouse, baby?! I love these kind of restaurants where they bring you meat, meat and more meat. WOO HOO! My wife Christine and I would be so very delighted to meet you in person and we’re even bringing along a couple of low-carb superheroes with us who have become great friends over the past few years–Dana Carpender and Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt!
The awesome “Queen of Low-Carb Cooking” and bestselling low-carb cookbook author Dana Carpender will be there to share about the fabulous work she is doing promoting healthy low-carb living through her popular books, blogs, and her brand new podcast. If you’ve never experienced Dana Carpender in person, then you are gonna be in for a real treat. Her enthusiasm for low-carb and life in general is totally infectious–don’t miss out on this chance to meet her!
Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt will also be in Baltimore coming over all the way from his home country of Sweden where he is one of the leaders of the LCHF (low-carb, high-fat) movement there. This medical doctor released a book in Swedish about low-carb living earlier this year and it has already lit up the bestseller charts there. He’s been making more and more trips to the United States over the past couple of years and I have a feeling his book may be translated into English sometime. He’s already taken his top-rated Swedish language Kostdoktorn blog and created an English version of it called “Diet Doctor” that is worth taking a peek at. You will certainly want to meet this low-carb rock star in person for yourself!
Again, that’s THIS Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 3:30PM at the Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse located at 600 East Pratt Street in Baltimore. We already have the reservations made and need to know if you are coming. Please RSVP as soon as possible and no later than Friday, April 8, 2011 to livinlowcarbman@charter.net. It’s always fun to meet blog readers and podcast listeners face-to-face and I promise you it’ll be a good time! SEE YA SUNDAY!
